The PHD Network Infrastructure Engineer is a technical resource for the EthosEnergy Plant Health and Diagnostics (PHD) product. This position is a primary technical resource responsible for network stability, data connection uptime, data historian management and system maintenance of the PHD network data infrastructure, customer connections and vendor system connections. Salary range is $75,000-$100,000 depending on experience and skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Managing data connections between EthosEnergy and our PHD Customers
- Initializing new customer data connections and coordinating with customer IT for execution
- Supporting internal IT with maintenance of EthosEnergy Data infrastructure and providing support to customer’s data infrastructure
- Supporting New products and services related to data infrastructure and remote access of data, withing the power, oil and gas and industrial markets.
Required Skills / Knowledge
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical experience in lieu of Degree
- Experience with OSI PI systems (hardware and software) Desired
- Knowledge of Azure VMs and Networking
- Knowledge with VMWare ESXI
- Knowledge with Rockwell Ethernet/IP is beneficial
- Understanding of vLANs and NAT and ability to manage and troubleshoot IPSec and SSL based VPNs
Experience
- 3-5 years experience in a technical field, applying required skills
- Experience with industrial customers/clients desired
Education Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, or related Technical or Engineering degree
Physical Requirements
