EthosEnergy is currently seeking a Plant Administrator for our facility in Manzanillo, DR. The Plant Administrator supports the operational and administrative needs of the plant under the supervision of the Office Manager, contributing to smooth business operations and organizational success. This role involves a diverse range of responsibilities across administrative, HR, accounting, and facility-related functions, ensuring adherence to company policies and compliance standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Administrative Operations: Manage day-to-day administrative work, including purchasing, mail handling, and accounts payable/receivable. Establish, implement, and enforce office policies and procedures for efficient plant operations. Oversee general office activities such as filing, data management, and interdepartmental coordination. HR and Employee Support: Assist in HR functions, including onboarding, managing PTO schedules, and benefits administration, such as annual employee examinations. Coordinate payroll processes bi-weekly and maintain schedules for employee leave (vacation, sick, personal time). Accounting and Financial Duties: Enter reimbursable expenses into plant accounting systems and support invoice receiving and monthly financial reporting. Process vendor payments and expense reports in line with company policy. Compliance and Policy Implementation: Support the Office Manager with compliance monitoring and policy enforcement in line with company regulations. Assist in developing and coordinating the execution of program policies and procedures. Event and Visitor Coordination: Coordinate special projects, internal events, and travel arrangements for plant staff. Oversee visitor management and ensure a professional experience for plant guests. Support to Operations & Maintenance: Provide administrative assistance to Operations & Maintenance teams, including project planning, correspondence, and database management. Ad-hoc and Specialized Projects: Tackle miscellaneous tasks and dynamic projects as needed to meet the evolving demands of the plant.

Required Skills / Knowledge

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and plant-specific software like Navision and SAP.
  • Knowledge of accounting, business administration, and inventory control.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple issues and resolve them effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrates decision-making abilities and maintains high confidentiality standards.
  • Strong communication skills, including verbal and written, as well as the ability to interact professionally with executives, clients, management, peers and department personnel fostering a cooperative environment
  • Proactively seek opportunities to assist team members with administrative and project work.
  • Maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish is a plus.

Experience

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience or a combination of experience and education, preferably in the power or related industries.

Education Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent required.
  • Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college to technical school

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to do walking, reaching, climbing, and stooping and lifting (up to 25 pounds). Flexibility to occasionally work extended hours, including nights or weekends, to support plant operations.
