The Maintenance manager is accountable for the availability, performance and operating condition of all facilities, machines, equipment, electricity system, water supply system and industrial gas supply system of Heavy Industrial Gas Turbine (HIT) plant. The maintenance manager shall focus and emphasis as much as possible on Preventive Maintenance rather than Corrective Maintenance concept with all software properly. Set up saving energy plan and budget.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages, organizes, leads, and motivates all maintenance staffs towards the company’s objectives and discipline as per company rules and regulations. Ensure their utilization and efficiency is maximized and effective.
- Ensure availability, performance and operating condition of all facilities, machines, equipment, electricity system, water supply system and industrial gas supply system to meet business demand and requirements.
- Develop preventive maintenance master plan and equipment overhaul schedules to ensure the plant facilities and all equipment are well maintain and able to operate at their highest performance.
- Coordinate and carry out all preventive and corrective maintenance activities within the plant.
- Ensure that the maintenance works are carried out effectively and efficiently according to master plan as well as daily maintenance reworks requested from all parties. Ensure proper communication and co-ordination of works within as well as other sections/department.
- Monitor record and analyze the plant wide maintenance history, propose for plant modifications and preventive maintenance improvement with all software properly.
- Plan and control spending on the maintenance activity to the most economically within agreed budget.
- Initiate ideas for cost saving regarding facility and equipment maintenance including saving energy projects.
- Support engineering and operation for new product development and process improvement projects.
- Implement and promote 6S principle, Saving Energy within their team and responsible area.
- Ensure work safety, environmental and health regulation are adhered to and necessary PPE equipment provided to all staff where required.
Required Skills / Knowledge
- Good command of English
- Computer literacy
- AUTO CAD 2000-2004
- PLC Programming
Experience
- Over 5 years experience in maintenance field (PM, TPM) and EDM FPI, Plasma spray, Super drill, CNC, PLC, HVOF
Education Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical)
