Our Talent Acquisition team is growing! The Talent Acquisition Specialist would be responsible for vacancies at all levels and disciplines within their assigned area. Working closely with the Human Resources teams, Talent Acquisition Senior Manager and Technical functions; the ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be highly organized. The successful candidate will be responsible for advertising, searching and sourcing excellent talent for our business with a focus given to direct sourcing methods. The Recruiter will be responsible for managing vacancies within their assigned area of responsibility, adhering to appropriate timescales and budget requirements, and ensuring that the expectations of candidates and hiring managers are met.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of business needs and respond to requests for resourcing support with speed.
  • Ensure that our Hiring Managers understand the approval and recruitment process and provide guidance and support throughout.
  • Transform content of job descriptions into compelling advertisements tailored to the advertising medium, making use of keywords to ensure they appear in appropriate searches.
  • Provide advice on appropriate candidate sources and attraction media to attract both internal and external applicants. Undertake complex searches on a variety of media such as LinkedIn Recruiter etc.
  • Establish strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on resourcing progress in their area of responsibility.
  • Take lead in conducting candidate screenings and arrange interviews across multiple locations if necessary with hiring manager and HR teams.
  • Challenge the status quo, ensuring diverse interview slates are shortlisted.
  • Provide other support as appropriate throughout the selection process.
  • Responsible for ensuring candidate and vacancy data is correct and up to date and accurate, maintaining our Recruitment system and associated reports.
  • Ensure all applicants have a positive experience throughout the recruitment process, regardless of the outcome of their application
  • Proactively create pipelines of talent to meet future needs.

  • Significant experience in a Recruitment / Talent Acquisition role is essential and a preference given towards experience in a Global organization and/or in-house recruitment capacity.
  • Strong, proven experience within resume screening, interviewing, candidate management and customer service.
  • Experience of recruiting in an Operations, Power Generation or Energy arena would be preferred.

Education Requirements

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role and / or;
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or another suitable discipline
  • Tertiary education qualification in business/administration/HR or related field preferred.
